Catriona is a Teaching Fellow at the Centre for the Social History of Health and Healthcare, University of Strathclyde, UK. She has authored a number of publications including a monograph Imagining Childhood, Improving Children: The Emergence of an Avuncular State in Late Colonial South India (2023). Her research centres on the history of childhood with a particular emphasis on education, schooling, welfare and juvenile justice.
