Episode 27 Jordan Kistler

On Victorian Gothic Lit, Vampires & Museums

Jordan is a writer and teacher based in Glasgow, Scotland. She is a lecturer in English, with teaching specialism in Gothic literature, and writes  about the intersections between literature and science in the nineteenth century and today. Jordan is a long-time member of the British Society for Literature and Science and is interested in the benefits of thinking across disciplinary lines. She collaborates frequently with the Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery on projects that seek to engage visitors through fantasy fiction. 

 

Her next book, The British Public and the British Museum: Shaping and Sharing Knowledge in the Nineteenth-Century, will be published by Edinburgh University Press.
