Q is an Edinburgh-based writer and academic. They are currently concluding an ESRC-funded PhD on caring narrations of anti-authoritarian resistances at the University of St Andrews, where they’re also a Research Affiliate with the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies and the curator of the grant-funded South Asian Stories project. Q helps organise for solidarity efforts as the Co-convenor of the Palestine Solidarity Group of the Scottish Greens Party, and they are the 2023 winner of the Kavya Prize for Scottish Writers.
